I have discovered another great workshop location. And it’s just one island over from IJburg, where I live. A cool venue with plenty of space. The best part is that the owner is just as enthusiastic as I am about me hosting a ceramics workshop here.

Several groups of girlfriends have already taken their seats, and the first strokes of glaze have been applied. I am very curious to see what this group will create.

The hardest part of this ceramic glazing workshop is often choosing the designs you want to paint and deciding which colors go with them. Luckily, I have a palette full of color options. If you still don't find enough, you can also mix the colors yourself.

And once the first important conversations between friends have been had, and everyone is caught up on each other's lives, full focus often kicks in as soon as the first small details appear on the mugs, plates, and bowls. Sunshine included. Great food. What more could you want?
